We are seeking a compassionate and experienced clinical leader to join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care for residents, families, and staff in an Assisted Living community in Goldsboro, NC. As the Wellness Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the highest quality of care.
The ideal candidate should have prior leadership experience within a Long-Term Care or Assisted Living community and must hold an active RN nursing license.
About the Wellness Director (DON) Role
As the Wellness Director, you will lead and manage the clinical team, fostering an environment that promotes high-quality care for our residents. Your leadership will be pivotal in building strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and personalized care. You will also collaborate with community leadership to mentor staff and enhance both resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required education and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
Driver's license
At least 3 years of relevant experience, with clinical leadership experience preferred
Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation

This role is incentive-based, with potential for bonuses, incentive plans, or commissions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day clinical services in a complex community, ensuring that residents' healthcare needs are met with the highest standards of care.
Foster an environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect, and their healthcare needs are continually addressed as they change.
Provide leadership and coaching to licensed nurses and direct care staff within the community.
Lead a clinical leadership team of up to five members, depending on the complexity of the role. The level of responsibility for each community is determined by various factors, such as the size of the community, regulatory requirements, and the level of skilled services required.
