SERVICE DESK ENGINEER - EUC (Meridian,ID)

We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Service Desk Engineer- EUC. This is a full time position. Candidates must live in the service area and report to the Meridian office. This role reports to the Service Desk Manager.

You will be working on a team of highly skilled technicians and engineers across a wide range of disciplines. Your role is to ensure that industry best practices and methodologies are applied to the deployment, integration, and operational support of our customer environments. Work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm in-office or onsite with rotational on-call scheduling for work after-hours and on weekends.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a deep technical understanding of technologies, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and software systems. Azure and IGEL experience preferred but not required
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365
  • Work from Right! Systems Inc. offices to diagnose and resolve both emergency and chronic problems related to availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality
  • Work on detailed and complex support incidents across multiple technologies and disciplines as part of a team of engineers
  • Attend or participate in various product training sessions and classes in order to broaden your skillset while maintaining RSI’s vendor relationships
  • Meet with customers to discuss and outline new approaches and configuraions that improve and enhance their current environments
  • Create and maintain necessary technical support documents.
  • Provide hardware and software support
  • Other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 1-3 years of equivalent technology experience
  • Technical school or post-secondary education in technology preferred
  • Able to demonstrate associate level expertise or equivalent certification level in one or more of the following areas:
  • Servers and Virtualization (Windows, Azure)
  • Microsoft (365/AD/Exchange/Intune)
  • Thin-client (IGEL)
  • Exposure to Citrix Virtual Application and Desktop products as well as thin client devices preferred
  • SharePoint administration experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience supporting solutions from some of the listed vendors above
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoint devices.
  • Experience administering iOS and Android devices a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Candidate must be able to conduct research into issues and problems
  • Candidate must be able to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Candidate must be highly self-motivated and self-sufficient
  • Candidate must be able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Candidate must have a valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance
