Job Description

We've been retained by our client, a Stamford CT based Real Estate Owner, who seeks a Senior Treasury Accountant to play a key role on their Finance team, including overseeing Cash Management, Banking relationships and forecasting

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management of over 100 bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts, reviewing bank reconciliations, and maintaining new and existing banking relations
• Review daily cash positions and reconcile inflows and outflows
• Interact with Senior Management and third parties (Auditors, Tax Advisors, third-party owners) in order to provide necessary information and communicate effectively
• Maximize overall efficiencies of treasury department by effectively streamlining policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 3-6+ years’ experience in Accounting/Treasury function in the Real Estate or Hospitality industry
• Must have experience handling a large number of bank accounts (50+)
• Experience with Sage ERP system a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
