Current Media Group is looking for an energetic and forward-thinking individual to fill our Senior Merchandise Manager position. We are seeking an individual who combines a creative and analytical approach to curate compelling, best-selling products for an established direct mail/web business with a catalog that is produced 6 times a year.

This position is responsible for developing the entire product line for Current Media Group. Some aspects of the position include:

• Development of new products based on current market trends as well as historical data.
• Management of product assortment.
• Development of creative concepts for stationery, greeting cards and other products.
• Negotiation of cost, lead-times, minimum order quantities, etc.
• Responsible for final catalog and web layout to include accuracy of pricing, product codes, etc.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Merchandise manager for a catalog company highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Direct import experience desired.
• Proficient in analytical tools and software, including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
