Job Summary:
The Roofing Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of our roofing projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on leadership to manage roofing crews, coordinate materials, and ensure that safety and regulatory requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial roofing and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee roofing production for residential and commercial projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate roofing crews, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.
Conduct pre-construction meetings to review scope, timelines, and client expectations.
Coordinate material delivery and ensure proper allocation of resources for each job.
Inspect job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control, and project specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
Ensure all permits and inspections are obtained and passed as required.
Maintain detailed records of project progress, including work schedules, costs, and any changes.
Work closely with the project management and estimating teams to provide updates and feedback on project performance.
Implement and maintain health and safety standards for all roofing activities.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce project costs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Roofing Production Manager or similar role in the roofing industry.
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
In-depth understanding of OSHA and local safety regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in roofing production management.
Familiarity with various roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, asphalt shingles, metal roofing).
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
