Job Description

We’re seeking an organized and process-driven Aviation Quality Control and Assurance Manager with experience in Aviation Maintenance and/or Manufacturing. This role is pivotal to our company’s growth, ensuring all aviation maintenance and manufacturing activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies. You’ll develop and maintain quality control policies, conduct site surveys, and contribute to overall policy development to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You’ll ensure our products and services are delivered with unmatched quality and performance, making a significant impact on our operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality control and assurance policies for aviation maintenance and manufacturing, ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, ISO, AS9100, and other regulations.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to identify non-compliance and safety hazards, and prepare reports with recommendations.
  • Oversee quality control processes, monitor metrics, and coordinate with departments to resolve issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure timely record-keeping.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality procedures and maintain training records.
  • Participate in audits, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated with industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; or proven experience via military service or previous employment.
  • 5 years of experience in quality control and assurance within the aviation industry, with a focus on maintenance and manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability is a must, willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments
  • Advanced certification or relevant postgraduate education is a plus
