  • Project analyst/manager for 1 World Connected initiative, which provides empirical foundation for efforts to close the global digital divide
  • Provide support to the research on the impact of mobile Internet use, well-being, and gender in developing global communities
  • Draft project reports, research protocols, and other project documents
  • Produce data-driven insights for policymakers, decision-makers, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with UNICEF and members of the Partner2Connect Digital Coalition (P2C) alliance to brainstorm and implement strategies to improve smartphone access and affordability in developing nations
  • Clean and manage large datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Conduct statistical analyses using R/Stata to derive insights and support research objectives.
  • Prepare presentations for high-profile meetings and conferences, including those for international organizations such as U.N. bodies. Tailor content to diverse audiences and objectives.
  • Represent the project with various stakeholders and maintain strong relationships and address project-related inquiries.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred in Business, Decision Sciences, Data Sciences, Computer Science, Information Science, Informatics, Communications, International Development, Public Policy, or a related field, with significant coursework in quantitative analysis.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strength in technical, analytical, and computational abilities, complemented by strong writing skills.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in research or professional roles related to Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D), displaying an understanding of the field and its applications.
  • Programming Proficiency: Expertise in programming languages such as R or Stata, with a proven ability to perform complex data analysis and modeling.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel as required for project-related activities, including field research, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling
