Job Description: A large financial institution is looking for an Operational Risk Manager to join their team within the First Line of Defense. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that financial controls are consistently implemented across the organization. Your focus will be on control management and project oversight, collaborating with diverse teams throughout the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for data analysis, trend identification, and risk evaluation. Responsibilities :

• Advise on operational risk management plans.
• Track issues with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and risk appetite.
• Develop the operational risk framework.
• Manage risk and controls governance forums.
• Support Finance-specific procedures and standards.
• Facilitate understanding and use of the risk governance framework.
• Handle internal and external exam management processes.
• Aggregate reporting and support training initiatives.
• Monitor integration of regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in operational risk management
• Within risk/internal audit/or audit function
• Project management experience
• Experience in process governance/understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, or operational standards
• Operational Risk in the 1st line governance defense
• RCSA experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance/or similar
