Java Backend Developer Fulltime

Location: Dallas, WV (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

We're searching for a skilled Node.js Developer to craft the server-side magic behind our web applications. You'll collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable back-end features using Node.js.
• Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs to power our applications.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues within the back-end systems.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Node.js Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with popular Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient database queries (SQL).
• Familiarity with object-relational mapping (ORM) tools (e.g., Sequelize, TypeORM).
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
