Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to join an organization that puts its people first? Credit Union of Georgia is looking for a talented marketing specialist to join our growing team. The marketing specialist responsibility is to assist the Director of Marketing and Vice President of Marketing with the daily functions within the department including, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for upholding and adhering to Credit Union of Georgia brand standards including following all the steps of our unique member journEASE experience and to Engage, Ask, Solve and Excite and deliver top level member service every time.
  • Assists in the coordination, creation, designing and execution of the Credit Union's media and advertising campaigns and collateral materials which promote products, services and events.
  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaign calendar and strategic initiatives of the Credit Union by tracking, optimizing and reporting on the traditional and digital marketing channels
  • Assist in content creation, maintaining and updating the Credit Union’s website, social media platforms, intranet, blog, digital signage in branches and marquee signage.
  • Develop content calendar for social media platforms to track engagement, analytics and develop growth strategies
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of monthly reports on key performance indicators including social media content engagement, website traffic, email marketing metrics and other lead nurturing efforts
  • Assist in coordination, designing and execution of email marketing along with the management of the Credit Union’s MCIF software for additional marketing campaigns.
  • Assists in the creation, coordination, and dissemination of all media campaign materials, press releases, media advisories, and maintaining tracking and documentation of Credit Union advertisement efforts.
  • Assist in the creation, coordination, and execution of the Credit Union's charitable contributions initiatives and Foundation marketing.
  • Assists business development with promoting the Credit Union through various events, presentations, sponsorships, and donations to various groups.
  • Assists in ordering credit union promotional giveaway items and maintaining inventory according to budgetary limits.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends.

Experience

  • 3-5 Years experience in digital marketing
  • Email Marketing (one-to-one, bulk, behavioral/triggered, etc.)
  • Social Media Management (Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Paid Media (Display Advertising, Remarketing, Paid Search, etc.)
  • Publisher Advertising (Online and Trade Publications)
  • Proficient knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing.
  • Ability to ideate and create marketing assets for multiple digital marketing channels or platforms.
  • Basic, practical training in graphic design and content development is required, along with proficiency in developing webpages and creative/ad content using a website and marketing CMS, preferably WordPress.
  • Proficiency in using and optimizing digital marketing tools and platforms, including GA4, Google/Microsoft Ads, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw actionable customer and channel insights, and drive action.
  • Ability to prioritize marketing initiatives efficiently and juggle multiple competing priorities with ease.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
