Duties:

• Set up and operate manual machining.
• Use power tools and hand tools to complete machining tasks.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manual machinist.
• Proficient in using manual machining equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Computer skills.

Manual machinist uses machine tools and machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, lasers, water jets, and computerized CNC machines to produce any number of precision parts. Aside from being skilled in a number of tools and processes, they must be able to read and follow blueprints and other specification sheets.

Background and drug testing.

Machinists are often responsible for repairing the machines that they work with, sometimes making replacement parts for those machines. Some machining techniques that machinists use include press-braking, roll-forming, and stamping.

Safety is important, as the machines and parts they use can be heavy and dangerous. 
A conventional machinist must not only be skilled with the hands but also with the mind so as to be able to operate complex equipment and master complex techniques.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
