Job Description

DarrowEverett LLP is looking for a Legal Recruiter to support our growing practice. The candidate must have excellent communication and administrative skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, be able to multitask without sacrificing efficiency, be responsible, and be able to represent the firm, always, in ways that enhance its reputation.

The Legal Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals. This role works closely with practice group leaders and HR to develop effective hiring strategies, maintain a strong talent pipeline, and ensure a seamless candidate experience that aligns with the firm's values and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and practice leaders to understand current and future hiring needs
  • Develop, implement, and manage sourcing strategies to attract top legal talent
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews
  • Maintain strong relationships with legal search firms, law schools, and professional networks
  • Manage candidate experience from application through onboarding
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment metrics
  • Monitor market trends and provide competitive intelligence on compensation, benefits, and hiring strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification is a plus
  • 3+ years of legal recruiting experience, either in-house or with a legal staffing/recruiting agency
  • Strong understanding of the legal market and attorney career paths
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter.)
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality candidates and building strong talent pipelines
