POSITION SUMMARY:
The ECCP Model Fidelity Supervisor, will be working in conjunction with the ECCP Management Team, managing and maintaining the workflow associated with the daily ECCP program operations and is responsible for the direct supervision of 10-15 of the ECCP Consultants, to include supervision related to the field of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC), supervision to the ECCP model fidelity, and administrative supervision to support performance expectations related; to organization/time management, community engagement, service delivery, quality, caseload and professionalism. The Model Fidelity Supervisor is expected to work in close partnership with the ECCP Consultants Home Agency Supervisor to support the professional development and high quality service delivery of the ECCP Consultant and in meeting the contracted requirements of that agency. The Model Fidelity Supervisor is also responsible for conducting workforce development activities for both ECCP Consultants and outside providers. This position is up to 75% work from home and the remainder of time will be in the corporate office, with the flexibility to work more in office to fit the business needs of the company.
This position will represent ABH and its services in a positive and professional manner and adhere to ABH’s best practices, guidelines, policies and procedures as established, promoting ABH as a leader in behavioral healthcare in all interactions and work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trained in and holds strong working knowledge of the ECCP Program Model.
- Provides supervision to ECCP Consultants in accordance with the ECCP Program Model.
- Provide oversight and monitoring of subcontracted ECCP Consultants that are under the Model Fidelity Supervisor, to include individual supervision, co-supervision with their Home Agency Supervisor and site visits, as needed. These meetings should include basic expectations of work volume and quality as well as reflective and clinical supervision;
- Monitors ongoing ECCP staff workforce requirements and training needs.
- Ensure that ECCP Consultants under their supervision are trained and certified in required areas, including, but not limited to, HIPAA, PICCOLO, CBCL/CTR-F, and CLASS Tool;
- Monitor and tracks all areas of a consultant’s performance and direct service requirements including, but not limited to, Consultant Activity Projects, Community Trainings, Caseload tracking, impact outcomes, etc.
- Monitors and communicates to the ECCP Management Team, as well as the subcontracted providers, about consultant, contact and coverage information.
- Brings information to Program Manager related to any potential or realized gaps in service coverage, such as vacation or leave requests, over or under servicing within the consultants’ coverage area.
- Promptly elevates concerns to the proper level within ABH related to consultants’ attendance, travel, conflict of interest, performance, or any other potential issue that may compromise the quality of service delivery.
- Report to the Program Manager any issues related to an individual staff member’s job performance that may urgently impact the ability to fulfill contract requirements;
- Complete Quarterly Consultant level performance reporting, conduct 3 way supervisory meetings, highlighting capacities and effectively communicating and resolving any areas of concern.
- Work with ECCP Program Coordinators and ECCP Consultants to review EIS entries and identify trends related to consultant’s performance, managing data integrity, and uphold data as an important source to understanding consultee needs.
- Demonstrates confidence related to working within evidence based model and able to uphold the significant value of understanding and conveying the role data plays in informing the work of consultation.
- Other administrative duties as identified by the Program Manager / Director, including but not limited to, co-facilitating ECCP staff meetings; represent ABH and ECCP in the Early Childhood Community; attendance at, and/or participation in, activities related to the ECCP Contract, such as Early Childhood Initiatives, trainings and presentations; triage requests for ECCP Services and public presentations; and other duties as identified to implement and enhance the overall activities related to new or existing components of the ECCP Program;
- Maintains confidentiality of all client protected health information and adheres to all HIPPA related to policies and procedures;
- Performs other tasks/responsibilities as required to support the business operations;
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in all activities involving individuals of diverse backgrounds.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters Degree in the field of Mental Health;
- Clinical License required;
- 3-5 years of post-graduate work experience with children in the behavioral health and early education fields, preferably working in the field of early childhood mental health consultation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices involved in delivering individual child and classroom focused early childhood mental health services;
- 1-3 years of work experience in the supervision of staff for effective and efficient service delivery;
- Experience working within an evidence based service delivery model preferred.
- Experience with community engagement and in facilitating effective partnerships across disciplines.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Effective Communication skills, demonstrated leadership and planning skills;
- Competencies in the following areas: (Administrative, Reflective, and or Clinical) Supervision; Management; Culture, Early Childhood Development, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, and Early Childhood Education; Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation;
- Professional writing, training and public speaking skills;
- Excellent PC skills with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Package (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook); internet; working within an information system preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required. - Bilingual Candidate preferred
- Must have valid Connecticut driver’s license and reliable transportation;
