Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a proven track record of over five years in diverse industrial environments. The ideal candidate will employ advanced machine learning techniques, time-series modeling, predictive analytics, and data visualization to extract valuable insights and drive tangible business outcomes. The role involves handling extensive structured and unstructured datasets, employing a range of sophisticated modeling approaches to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning:
  1. Use ML algorithms to analyze customer data, integrating information from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends.
  2. Develop and deploy advanced solutions for sentiment analysis using Large Language Models (LLMs) to understand feedback trends and customer preferences comprehensively.
  • Time-Series Modeling & Predictive Maintenance:
  1. Use historical data and predictive models to anticipate resolution times for various service disruptions, aiming to predict the estimated time of resolution (ETR) to improve customer communication and service.
  • Root Cause Analysis:
  1. Conduct root cause analysis at the individual customer level to identify underlying reasons for service issues and other potential causes.
  2. Distinguish between chronic issues versus outliers and network-related issues versus other concerns.
  • Model Development & Management:
  1. Spearhead the development of cutting-edge clustering algorithms and innovative LLM tools for advanced data analysis and pattern recognition.
  2. Guide diverse teams through the entire model lifecycle, showcasing expertise in model risk management.
  • Advanced Data Solutions:
  1. Utilize advanced clustering techniques like HDBSCAN and UMAP to segment customers based on sentiment, facilitating the customization of retention strategies tailored to specific customer segments.
  2. Innovate by designing and implementing custom tools and algorithms to enhance data processing, analysis, and visualization for informed decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  1. Proven experience in descriptive analysis, statistical modeling, experimental design, and generating comprehensive reports.
  2. Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python, although experience with R / C / C++ will be considered.
  3. Expertise in handling extensive structured and unstructured datasets and employing sophisticated modeling approaches.
  4. Proficiency in working with Databricks, AWS / Azure / GCP environment.
  5. Expertise in various Python libraries tailored for time series analysis and utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs).
  6. Proven ability to innovate and implement custom tools and algorithms to enhance data processing and analysis.
  7. Strong ability to tackle critical business challenges using advanced technologies and innovative methodologies.

Preferred:

  1. Experience in hyper-segmentation and clustering techniques, including HDBSCAN and UMAP.
  2. Demonstrated success in developing and deploying LLM-based solutions for customer sentiment analysis and retention strategies.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any of the following: statistics, data science, computer science, or other data-intensive field.
