Job Description

Creative Services Manager Position Overview

Icovy is seeking a dynamic Creative Design Designer with a passion for collaborative, hands-on design and leadership within the medical device, healthcare, or a closely related industry. This role requires a highly skilled individual with experience managing both day-to-day creative tasks and leading the overall creative direction for projects that range from simple to enterprise-level. As the Creative Design Manager, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to produce visually compelling and strategically aligned designs across various channels. A startup mentality is essential, as you’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where flexibility and innovation are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Project Leadership

  • Oversee the creative direction and execution of multiple client projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with client goals.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of design projects, from concept to delivery, for both simple and complex initiatives, maintaining high standards of creative quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, and translate client objectives into effective design strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients on creative matters, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and alignment with client expectations.

Hands-On Design & Technical Execution

  • Balance leadership with hands-on design work, contributing directly to projects and tasks including web design, mass email graphics, brochures, event materials, booth designs, and video editing.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) to create high-quality visuals across different media.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation and visual standards across all client touchpoints, adapting designs to meet each client’s unique style and audience needs.

Task & Resource Management

  • Utilize Asana or equivalent project management tools to organize, track, and prioritize design tasks, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Coordinate project timelines, delegate tasks as needed, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Verify task alignment with client Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with the executive team, preventing scope creep and maintaining clear expectations.

Social Media & Content Strategy Support

  • Develop monthly social media content calendars, incorporating client feedback and adapting strategies to maximize engagement within target industries.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to brainstorm content ideas, themes, and creative strategies to drive brand differentiation.
  • Provide design support for social media assets, ensuring visuals align with clients’ social strategies and messaging objectives.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Lead brainstorming sessions with internal teams to develop fresh, impactful creative ideas that elevate client brands.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team input and continuous improvement in creative practices.
  • Conduct monthly presentations to clients showcasing new concepts and creative strategies, proactively introducing ideas that align with their brand goals.

Client Engagement & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on design trends and industry advancements, especially those within the healthcare and medical device sectors, to keep Icovy’s creative services competitive.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of client engagement and design effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to the Executive Team and Marketing Manager.
  • Continuously seek out ways to enhance the creative team’s workflow, identifying new tools or processes to improve productivity and project impact.

Reporting & Updates

  • Provide regular updates to the Executive Team on project statuses, including challenges, accomplishments, and upcoming milestones.
  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing client account updates and design achievements to maintain transparent communication across Icovy’s team.

Travel & In-Person Requirements

  • Occasionally travel for team meetings, client engagements, and other company-related events as required. Travel expectations will be communicated in advance, and all travel expenses will be covered under Icovy’s travel policy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a hands-on design or creative management role, ideally within the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of projects from simple to enterprise-level, reflecting the candidate’s design versatility and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and familiarity with tools like Figma and other design software.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple client accounts and leading projects with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to working across departments.
  • Startup mentality with the ability to adapt quickly, innovate on the go, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

To Apply: Interested candidates are required to submit a portfolio showcasing relevant work to apply@icovy.com.
