Job Description

TrueBridge Capital Partners is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Professional to fill a full-time position on its Investor Relations team based in their Chapel Hill location. The role will focus on supporting all aspects of investor fundraising, prospecting, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

At least 75% of the role will be sourcing, pitching and closing new investors into all TCP offerings.

  • At least 50% of this will be targeted towards European investors and 50% US investors.

The candidate will need to be able to:

  • Travel extensively and represent TrueBridge in Europe and within the US.
  • Effectively communicate TrueBridge product offerings.
  • Aid in coordinating meetings with existing clients and potential investors.
  • Prepare and contribute in presentations to existing clients and potential investors.

25% will be supporting IR functions including:

  • Help organize collateral materials for fundraising activities.
  • Research and provide input on current market trends
  • Assist with updating and maintaining CRM database
  • Respond to investor requests including RFPs, presentations and proposals
  • Assist with planning events including logistics, support and execution
  • Interface with the Operations Team on a variety of investor topics.
  • Participate in Investment Team meetings and discussions
  • Attend periodic TrueBridge Investor Calls and annual TrueBridge investor meeting

The ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 5 years of business development/sales experience, preferably in alternative investments
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship-building skills, as well as writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM database management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics
  • CAIA preferred
