Job Overview

This dynamic role offers a motivated real estate professional long-term career growth within a fast-paced real estate investment firm. The position is highly visible and works closely with Asset Management, Investment, Legal & Construction teams under the supervision of Finance. The role is responsible for supporting the administration of the company’s real estate portfolio by creating analytical tools, coordinating due diligence, reporting on market conditions, managing property records, and delivering investor reporting to maximize asset performance. A successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, opportunistic environment with an ownership mentality while establishing a strong reputation of integrity, accountability and creativity.

Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include the following specific tasks. Duties and responsibilities will evolve in response to organizational needs, offering opportunities for growth and development.

  • Strategic Data Analysis & Reporting : Create and manage tools for measuring portfolio performance and reporting on market conditions, economic environments, and property metrics.
  • Transaction Coordination : Organize, track & lead components of due diligence for acquisitions, dispositions, quarterly appraisals and financings, ensuring smooth transaction processes.
  • Investor Reporting : Assist in preparing annual budgets, business plans, and quarterly investor reports.
  • Property & Vendor Management : Maintain accurate property records, manage vendor contracts, and update databases. Coordinate and review loan draws. Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable and contract management for expense allocations.
  • Document Management : Create lease, loan, and document abstracts. Ensure compliance, proper dissemination & document organization within the organization.
  • ESG Coordination : Support the company's ESG initiatives by monitoring and reporting on property metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and implement ways to streamline workflows & processes to support scalability.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Work Experience: The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of experience with career aspirations in commercial real estate.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Thrives in a dynamic, small-company environment, demonstrating initiative and a self-starter attitude.
  • Significant expertise with Microsoft Office applications is required. Experience and/or familiarity with MRI and Argus a plus.
  • Must be proactive and flexible with a strong drive for continuous learning, possessing the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of people from peers, investors, tenants, brokers, property managers & other outside professionals.
