Attorney - Mass Tort

Position Overview
We are looking for you, our next Associate Attorney, to join our fast growing firm with a strong company culture.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Salary: $130,000 - $180,000

This role is crucial in providing expert legal support and representation to our clients involved in mass tort litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and litigate mass tort cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on product liability and premise liability issues
• Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather and present evidence
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings as necessary
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends related to mass torts
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to strategize case approaches

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mass tort and product liability litigation
• Strong understanding of major loss and professional liability cases
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical legal practice
